Professional Profile

Cecilia is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with over 20 years of experience in medical dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science at the University of Maryland in Biology and her Physician Assistant Certification at CCBC Essex in Baltimore. She completed her dermatology training working alongside leading specialists. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has been practising as a dermatology PA-C since graduation in 2001. With over 20 years of dermatology experience she has particular experience in managing a wide spectrum of conditions-from acne, eczema and psoriasis to skin cancer screening.

Her philosophy is straightforward: “Skin health plays a major role in quality of life. I often meet patients who live with an untreated skin condition for years. But once treated, they report improved self esteem and share how they are able to sleep better at night and physically do things they have not been able to do in years.”
